Car: From Bordeaux head for Paris, and just before you arrive at the peage take a right turn on the RN10 to Angouleme and Barbezieux (Exit 39a).
At Barbezieux take the turning for Barbezieux centre. You will arrive at a roundabout, and follow the signs to Montmoreau.
On this road, about 8 kms further on, by an old windmill turn right for Challignac. When you arrive in Challignac turn left towards Brie and Bessac. About one and a half kms further on you will see a line of poplars by the local football pitch on the right. Opposite there is a small sign for “Le Maine Neuf”. That’s us. Take the driveway through a small wood and you have arrived.
From Angouleme on the RN10 to Bordeaux about 20kms further you will see a sign for Viville and Pont à Brac on the right. This is your cue to take the next left for VIGNOLLES about 1km further on. When you arrive at Vignolles, turn right for CHALLIGNAC (11kms). Go straight until you arrive in Challignac and turn left towards Brie and Bessac. One and a half kms further you will see the local football pitch lined with poplars. Opposite on the left there is a small sign to “Le Maine Neuf”. Drive down the chalk drive through a small wood and you have arrived!
